Child Protective Investigations  

  • Call the Texas Abuse Hotline number at 1-800-252-5400

  • You may also report abuse, neglect or exploitation at

Child Protective Investigations (CPI) examines reports of child abuse or neglect to determine if any child in the family has been abused or neglected. If DFPS decides that children aren't safe, the investigator starts protective services.  Child Protective Services (CPS) becomes involved with children and families when they are referred by the DFPS Investigations division.

To empower older adults to live with purpose, independence, and dignity.  We provide these services free of charge at 26 Sixty & Better Activity Centers and Wellness Programs Sites throughout Tarrant County:  We are the only organization in the nation for those 60+ with a network of 26 Activity Centers.

SapphiQ at Resource Center

SapphiQ is one of the only LGBTQIA+ women’s programs in North Texas. SapphiQ engages LGBTQIA+ women age 18+ through programs, activities and outings designed to provide social engagement.
