Child Protective Investigations (CPI) examines reports of child abuse or neglect to determine if any child in the family has been abused or neglected. If DFPS decides that children aren't safe, the investigator starts protective services. Child Protective Services (CPS) becomes involved with children and families when they are referred by the DFPS Investigations division.

Women with Pride at Resource Center
Women with Pride (WwP) is one of the only LGBTQ+ women’s programs in North Texas. WwP engages LGBTQ+ women age 18+ through programs, activities and outings designed to provide social engagement. Activities include advocacy, community events, monthly social events, a Lesbian Fiction Book Club and annual holiday party.
